About Express Entry Draws — Latest CRS Cut-Off Tracker

This tracker lists the most recent Express Entry draws — the date of each round, the draw category, how many invitations to apply (ITAs) IRCC issued, and the CRS cut-off score. The data is refreshed automatically every week from IRCC's official rounds-of-invitations feed on canada.ca, so what you see reflects the government's own published record rather than a manually edited page.

Reading the list correctly matters. Since 2023, IRCC has run category-based draws — French-language proficiency, healthcare, STEM, trades and education — alongside program draws for the Canadian Experience Class and the Provincial Nominee Program. PNP rounds show cut-offs above 700 only because every candidate in them already holds a 600-point provincial nomination; they say nothing about what an ordinary profile needs. The general CEC draws are the realistic benchmark for most candidates, while French-language rounds have consistently invited at much lower scores.

Each row includes a bar showing the cut-off relative to the 1,200-point CRS ceiling, and the update date is displayed at the top so you always know how fresh the data is. If you have not scored your own profile yet, the linked CRS calculator lets you work out exactly where you stand against these cut-offs — everything runs in your browser with no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Candidates invited in Provincial Nominee Program rounds already hold a provincial nomination, which adds 600 CRS points to their score. A cut-off of 805 in a PNP draw really means the underlying profiles scored around 205 before the nomination. Never compare your base CRS score to a PNP cut-off — use the general Canadian Experience Class rounds as your benchmark instead.

There is no fixed passing score — each round sets its own cut-off based on how many invitations IRCC issues and who is in the pool. In the draws shown here, general CEC rounds have been cutting off in the low-to-mid 500s, while French-language proficiency rounds have invited candidates around the 390–420 range. Check the most recent draw in your category for the current reality.

A scheduled job pulls IRCC's official rounds-of-invitations JSON from canada.ca every week and stores the results, and the "Updated" date at the top of the list always shows the date of the newest draw on record. If the feed is temporarily unreachable, the tracker keeps serving the last successfully stored snapshot rather than showing nothing.

Program-based rounds (like Canadian Experience Class or PNP-only draws) rank everyone in the pool by CRS score. Category-based rounds, introduced in 2023, invite only candidates who meet a specific attribute — strong French, or recent experience in healthcare, STEM, trades or education occupations — which is why their cut-offs can be far lower. If you qualify for a category, your effective chances can be much better than your raw score suggests.
