About Connect the Dots — Free Online Dot to Dot for Kids
This free online dot to dot game gives kids ten friendly connect-the-dots puzzles — an ice cream, a house, a boat, a fish, a star, a rocket, a heart, a cat, a flower and a sun — ranging from 8 easy dots up to a 24-dot sun. Tap or drag through the numbers in order and a thick crayon line draws the picture as you go; finish it and the shape fills with colour, confetti bursts, and a star is added to the child's collection.
It is built for real classroom and home use, not just play. A count-by mode switches every puzzle from 1, 2, 3 to skip counting by twos (2, 4, 6…), which quietly doubles the practice value for kindergarten and grade 1. Turn on Voice and each number is read aloud slowly as it is tapped — great for pre-readers learning number names. Tap a wrong dot and the game gently says "not yet" and shows which number to find, so children self-correct without frustration. A Guide toggle adds a faint dashed path for the youngest players.
There is nothing to download or print: it runs on any device with a browser, so it works on a classroom smartboard, an iPad, or a phone in a waiting room. Everything happens on the device itself — no account, and earned stars are remembered locally between visits.

Number recognition, number order (which number comes next), one-to-one counting, and — in the 2, 4, 6 mode — skip counting by twos, which is an early multiplication foundation. Dragging finger or mouse between dots in sequence also builds the hand–eye control and directional strokes that feed into handwriting.
