About Online Coloring Book for Kids — Free Coloring Pages

This online coloring book for kids turns eight friendly line-art pictures — a house, flower, fish, butterfly, car, rainbow, cat and balloons — into tap-to-fill coloring pages that work on any phone, tablet or classroom board. Pick a crayon from a 19-colour box (including light, medium and deep skin tones), then tap a part of the picture or drag a finger across it to colour several parts in one sweep. Every region pops softly as it fills, and because each shape colours in completely, nothing ever goes outside the lines.

Beyond crayons there is an eraser, a sticker tool with 14 emoji stamps you can place anywhere on the scene, a one-tap "Surprise colours" that auto-colours the whole picture, Fill all, and full undo/redo. When the masterpiece is done, "Save my picture" downloads it as a crisp PNG image straight from the browser — the artwork is rendered on your own device, never uploaded anywhere.

Progress is saved automatically for each picture on your device, so a half-finished cat is still waiting after dinner, and each of the eight pages keeps its own colours. There is no app to install, no account and no ads interrupting the drawing area — just open the page and start colouring, which makes it an easy mess-free alternative to printable coloring pages when there is no printer around.

Popular uses

Parents handing over a phone or tablet for quiet time without downloads or in-app purchases Kindergarten colour-recognition and vocabulary practice on the classroom smartboard Travel and waiting-room entertainment that leaves no crayon mess Early-years teachers discussing scenes ("What colour is the roof?") while a child fills each part Making a printable keepsake — colour a page, save the PNG, print it at home

Frequently asked questions

Roughly ages 2 to 8. Because it is tap-to-fill rather than freehand, toddlers get satisfying results without needing pencil control — a single tap colours a whole region perfectly. Older kids get more from the sticker layouts, skin-tone crayons, and planning their own colour schemes versus the Surprise auto-colour.

Yes. Every fill and sticker is saved automatically in the browser on that device, per picture, so you can come back days later and continue exactly where you left off. Nothing is uploaded — the artwork never leaves your device — which also means switching to a different device starts with blank pages.

Tap "Save my picture" and the tool downloads a clean 600×600 PNG of the current page, generated entirely on your device. From there you can print it like any photo, set it as a wallpaper, or send it to grandparents. Each picture exports separately, so kids can build a little gallery.

Tap-to-fill is the digital version of colouring inside the lines: each part of the picture is a separate shape that fills with one touch, so young children practise colour choice, part-whole thinking ("the roof", "the left wing") and deliberate decisions instead of scribbling. It is also completely mess-free on a shared family tablet or classroom smartboard.

Yes — it is a browser page built touch-first, so it runs on iPads, Android tablets, phones, laptops and interactive whiteboards with no download or sign-up. Drag-to-colour works with a finger or stylus, and every control (crayons, tools, regions) is also keyboard-accessible.
