About Teleprompter
This online teleprompter scrolls your script smoothly past a glowing reading line so you can look straight into the lens and just talk. Paste or type your words, set the speed in words-per-minute, then adjust font size, line height, text width and where the reading line sits. A live runtime estimate tells you how long the script will take at your chosen pace, and a 3-2-1 countdown gives you a moment to settle before it starts.
The mirror controls make it work with real prompter hardware. Flip H reverses the text horizontally for beam-splitter rigs, where the script is read as a reflection in the angled glass in front of your lens; Flip V flips it vertically for overhead or ceiling mounts. You drive playback hands-free: tap the left third of the screen to slow down, the centre to play or pause and the right to speed up, or use the keyboard — space to play, arrows for speed and jumps, R to restart, F for fullscreen and M to mirror.

A beam-splitter teleprompter reflects your screen off a sheet of angled glass mounted in front of the lens, and that reflection is flipped left-to-right — so you turn on Flip H to make the text read correctly through the glass. Flip V mirrors top-to-bottom for overhead or ceiling-mounted rigs. If you are just reading straight off the screen, leave both off.
Speed is set in words per minute. During playback you can nudge it without stopping: tap the left screen zone to slow down and the right zone to speed up, press the up and down arrow keys, or use the − and + buttons on the control bar. The runtime readout updates to show how long the whole script now takes at that pace.
No. The script lives only in your browser's local storage on this device, so it is still there when you come back but it is never sent anywhere. The whole tool runs client-side and keeps working with no connection, which makes it safe for confidential or unreleased scripts.
