Who Formfoto is for

For anyone filling in an online passport, visa or exam form whose photo or signature keeps getting rejected for the wrong size, background or file size. Formfoto measures every rule on your phone before you upload.

How Formfoto works

01
Search for your exam, document or country and choose the matching preset.
02
Take a photo while the camera checks head size, tilt, eyes and light, or import one.
03
Let it fix the background and crop, then save, share or print a sheet of copies.

Questions about Formfoto

What is Formfoto?

Formfoto makes passport, visa and exam photos and signatures at the exact size, background and file size in KB your form asks for. Every rule is measured on your phone before you upload. No account, no ads, no tracking.

How does it land a file between, say, 20 and 50 KB?

It picks the highest quality that still fits under the form's upper limit. If the file is still below the minimum, it uses more pixels where allowed or pads the file, keeps it a normal JPEG, and tells you it did so.

Can it clean up my signature or thumb impression?

Yes. Photograph it on plain paper and Formfoto makes the paper white, trims around the ink and fits it to the required size. Signature ink can be turned black or blue; thumb prints stay grey.

Where do the preset rules come from?

Each preset names the official notice it follows and the date it was checked, and the list is public. Rules can change, so check your form's latest notice too; Formfoto is not linked to any government, embassy or exam body.

Can I get prints made at a photo shop?

Yes. Build a sheet of copies on 4x6 in or A4 paper, save it as a PDF, and have it printed at 100 percent with no fit-to-page scaling.

When can I get Formfoto?

Formfoto is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Its website, formfoto.wdlab.app, will link to the stores the day it is live.

Which phones does Formfoto run on?

iOS and Android (iOS 15+, Android 8+).

Who makes Formfoto?
