What Hisaabo does.

  • Bank, card, UPI and wallet SMS read on the phone as they arrive (a Shortcuts automation on iPhone)

  • Bank and card statements (PDF, CSV, Excel) and the mutual-fund CAS with XIRR

  • "Safe to spend today" from your budget and the bills still due

  • Rent, SIPs, EMIs and subscriptions spotted on their own, with a nudge the day before

  • Net worth month by month: balances, funds, deposits, gold and property

  • Optional end-to-end encrypted sync and a shared family book; English and Hindi

Who Hisaabo is for

For people who want to see where their money goes each month without typing in every UPI payment or handing an app their bank login. Hisaabo builds the diary from the messages and statements already on the phone.

How Hisaabo works

  1. 01

Let it read bank and UPI SMS on Android, or set up the iPhone Shortcuts automation.

  2. 02

Import bank statements or your mutual-fund CAS to bring in older history and investments.

  3. 03

Check the diary daily for what is safe to spend and which bills come next.

Questions about Hisaabo

What is Hisaabo?
Hisaabo reads your bank SMS, UPI alerts, statements and mutual-fund CAS on your phone, sorts every payment, and shows what is safe to spend today. No bank login, no account, no ads, no loan offers.
Does Hisaabo need my bank login?
No. There is no bank login and no account. It works from the SMS alerts, statements and CAS files on your phone, and reads them there.
My bank's messages are not being picked up. What can I do?
Use the Teach me strip: show Hisaabo a single message, tap the amount, and future messages from that bank are understood. Hisaabo keeps just the message pattern, stripped of amounts and names.
Can my family share one book?
Yes. Pick which accounts to share with people in your home; everyone chooses what they add, and only members' phones can open the book. Joining uses an 8-character code.
Do I have to turn on sync?
No, sync is optional and only for keeping the diary on a second phone. If you turn it on, the diary is encrypted on your phone before upload, so the server only ever stores data it cannot read.
When can I get Hisaabo?
Hisaabo is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. Its website, hisaabo.wdlab.app, will link to the stores the day it is live.
Which phones does Hisaabo run on?
iOS and Android.
Who makes Hisaabo?
Hisaabo is made by Workaholic Developers, an international software company with teams in Canada and India, which also builds ClassTrack, Mailaholic and the Noodle games.
